This Summer, I am going to paint my bedroom. These yellow walls have been emitting a certain aura of creativity for over a decade since they were painted and plastered. But, I have that aura in my system now and it's time for an Opuss style change. Ok, my idea is a cross between words on paper and a darkly gothic genre surrounded with an overall tint of Pagan/Wiccan/Druid magyck. I'm thinking of painting half my room a pure, snowy white and inking on black words in different fonts, styles and languages, from Latin and Greek to Spanish and Old English. Near the floor, I was thinking of having them drip down to form a puddle of ink, where I'll paint the skirting boards black. The other half of the room will be shades of dark blue and more black to form a gothic feel to it. The ceiling will stay white, but will have gothic Japanese figures hanging from hooks to give off a kind of surreal feel to it. This, combined with my Wiccan altar, will complete the area. I also had a last minute thought to put rings in the wall and hang pens off of them, next to a bookshelf I'm hoping to install (if I can find one). So, what do you think? Please comment with any ideas and thank you for taking the time to read this ;-)
