A Song- A Gift

Something I wrote to my ex long ago on her birthday.

Today Is Your Birthday… very special day for me you!! Here I go..
When you think about someone special,
When you think about them day and night,
When you get this feeling,
To never turn back,
Till you win the heart of you angel,
This feeling never goes back
And so I find a halo now,
And make a mask shallow,

To hide my true face,
And win that eternal race,
To find myself for you…
I try to make up my mind,
I try to search and find,

TO be a guiding vessel,
To show you light
I have no power,
I have no great strength,
My only weapon
is that of causing discontent

But then I find my conscience
To keep your heart of hearts safe…
I had nothing
I was a lie,
And then I was a sonething,
When you came by…
My life wasn’t brilliant
neither was yours
But we both found out
What we can’t do…

We can’t be somebody else
To find ourselves within
We can’t see through darkness,
When there is no light around…

We can’t tell destiny,
To stop this mutiny,
But we can decide
How to stop the tide…

We found our light
We found our angel
And with life and strife
We’ve gotten to the end of our troubles

What awaits us,
Is an eternal night,
Waiting to take us,
But I will turn on the light….

We will go forward,
You and I,
Together facing the world….
We don’t care where we go,
Cause we will always be together,
Forever!!!

And then I open my eyes,
Too afraid to leave this dream of mine,
Only to see
That my dream
Is reality when you’re around…

I was in my own world
Thinking why we both are here,
I was asking god,
For a sign that he could hear us…

That sign never came,
My mind still the same
Filled with doubt that without,
You there will be no me…
YOu and me,
Are meant to be distant,
Only so
That god can crave for our content

When you are here
I am too
All you have to do is close your eyes
know that I am always here
To make this world a better place
Only so that you can enjoy it…

I am always trying
To find
A better side of me
All I can do
Is write this song,
And know that
Whatever happens
I am always there for you…..

I waited for that miracle,
I waited at every turn
Only to discover
That I don’t need it…

Everything turns colourless
And black and white…

Before
I was invisible.
Every body saw through me like I was glass,
