Together Forever

For melody.

I still remember the day
we met,
It was a moment in space
 and in time set.
 Running in circles, I
sought for a vent
 someone who in my fury
 courage lent.
 Then came this song
which never ended,
 and this second nation
which i defended.
 A nation  of hope
which I had offended
now let me get away with
tears I never spended.

 And the second nation
broke me in and I swore to never love,
 till life's true call
nothing will ever find me.
Act 1 Scene 1 begins now
here and above
 in heaven where I will
no more brood.

Your eyes like stars just envelope
These words fly out like my fingers’ wet with soap.
Doubt myself I won’t ever so, nope.
I’ll get on, won’t sleep but will cope.

Never again though fall into that abyss,
Where that melody fills in the gaps and clears.
And the gaps I cannot understand.
Few can because only they can raise their hand to demand.

Look into my eyes, dolphin of the waves.
Show me your eyes deep and dark now,
Forget the shallow and those deep caves
Clear water is right here, right now somehow.

You touched me and I did follow,
With my life in your palms I did wallow.
No mourn, no scorn , no courage bourn, no dignity born
It was our life we lived together.

With the dolphin named Melody sweetening it forever.
The song moving on and on and on
Till the sun rose and then it flowed on.
Today I sit alone on this bleak lawn
Of ghosts and phantoms I never thought to vanquish
She was mine and is no more
As I sit here and in darkness phone
A hospital to ask the pills I need but they only want to ask
How big a bill I can afford.

When you were here my life was the poorest
And I stood and smiled with you in my arms, my dearest
With tornados we flew and destruction we cause
And we wept for the shaken houses and the distress with no
pause.
The nights most tranquil with you, forlorn.

We slept in an island of forgotten treasures,
Of treasures underneath, right beneath our feet
In the dust of the sandy beach we sat at
And the sunset we watched with my heart down a beat.

The world was bathed in lustrous gold,
The dirt sparkled and was billions unsold
My laughter at this amazement was understated
As I chose love over the treasure my hunger sated.
Hunger for more, a hunger leading to bore.
Because I didn’t walk through my life,
I ran, like those big speedy SUV vans.
Searching for fans and gliding towards a melody with
numerous demands.

Each time denying her light to touch me
And make me follow never ask to love me
Love was once and is forever
As my eternal dream you live now and ever
My fairy you beautiful beautiful you
You stay in my head and chose to give me a clue
Instead of just passing on
You stayed back in my heart for pushing me on.

I think of you, still somewhere there today.
Your reincarnation will someday come my way.
And then I will say when she asks me directions to our sweet
Bay,
And I’ll Say,
“I remember a world where you weren’t in it,
And I wasn’t either
But in that world the brightest colour was black
And the darkest white.
Where nothing was the same literally to be
But when you stepped into the world I had chosen to see
You just saw me but I saw you and me
Sitting under some tree
Dreaming of our mind connected as to be
You be my key?
Will you be the last petal I doubt to peel?
With my doubt disappearing as you come in time,
Blaring out a whistle, you make them get in line.
My thoughts are none as I see you,
Except I just can’t be without you.
One day I was with you, tomorrow and yesterday.
And one day I saw you pass me away.
That day I cried.

And that day I did beg
That you never leave me
I am your hay.
You, my Bay.
Where when I sat alone and watched the sunlight set you
came,
Turned my world around me as I watched you.
Fought back against my hope as it fought you.
And somehow managed to put your arms around me,
Whisper into me something that never fails to alarm me.
Because it came from you as beautiful and as sacred
As the stars floating over in the universe that races.

You taught me to forget and just count the paces
Then write it down and hit the Backspace and erases.
Took my arms and fit your fingers between as you and me,
Someday we will never be seen.

That day when you left I wept more than you know,
I knelt down to God and prayed to know
Why you were stolen away from me
With your golden hair and sparkling eyes
Your face as it melted mine…
You were my angel stolen away
Someday maybe today I’ll see you again .

For that someday I’ll search forever,
And if you’re scared I promise I’ll find you
I’ll fight pain as my migraines enhance and I battle it out
Just like I did with the stomach cancer.
Every little lie I spoke was a truth when I was with you
Because our floating world was where we fly away withyou
With you with you with you
I just want to sleep right in your lap
So today I see you,
Centuries ago it was set to meet you
Fate bows and Destiny showers flowers
As we take our first step as those high reaching towers,
lovers
Just say yes, and my next line will be
Thank god you didn’t say know, I knew it must be
You with the golden hair those golden eyes who always care
Someday we will smile and talk
To our previous beings far and mock
That they were brave and they diminished it
But we, we were scared but refurbished it.
And the Gods shower praise as now begins
The journey of our life and the love story begins

| If I half closed my eyes, I could see...
...a mirage, a ghost from years gone by, moving in the meadow. Richard the barnstormer, started the engine of the Fleet for the last time and settled down in his cockpit, touching the throttle, about to take off in search of his soulmate.
The biplane crept forward.
What would I do if I saw here now, he thought, if I saw her walking through the hay, telling me wait?
On silly impulse, he turned and looked.
There was a sunlight blur in the field. Through the hay to the airplane, long golden hair flashing behind her,
ran a woman, ran the most beautiful... Leslie Parrish! How did she...?
He stopped the engine at once, dazzled to see her.
"Leslie! Is that you?"
"Richard!" she called, "Going up?" She stopped breathless at the edge of the cockpit. "Richard...would you have time to fly with me?"
"Would you..." he said, all at once out of breath himself, "...would you want to?"
I turned to my wife, as startled as the pilot by what I'd seen.
Dirt-streaked, glorious, she smiled at me, tear-bright radiance. "Richie, they're going to try for it!" she said. "Wish them love!" |

For melody. who made me, me.
And to Richard Bach and Leslie Parrish because of whom; and whose words which I so included in the last of my poem, my self is a bit more complete.
Don't leave me.
