For those who may be grieving. I pray you receive peace for your brokenness.
The road of grief is long my friend The pot holes there to foil The tears you cry are painful And the angst of heart an uphill toil
Don't hide your tears in shame dear friend Afraid of breaking down They are there for you for purpose Gods test for you to own
The memories that are painful He needs you to accept Your lesson in forgiveness He has to know you have met
The jealousy of childhood The scorn of youthful years The race you chose to run All floodgates to your tears
It's time to see the passing As a gift of love and grace A time to thank the Lord For your sodden face
God gave the gift of parenthood We strive to get it right But the manual to go with it? We would throw away in fright!
Take pleasure in your memories The smiles, the love and more Cry your tears in joy, not sorrow Meet forgiveness at the door.
