White noise! White noise! White noise! When all around me are twinkling lights, tinsel and toys Huddling in a darkened room, watching it go by The joyous time of Christmas, which for most is just a lie The hoards of gifts that sit beneath a tree of peace When somewhere in this crazy world a child cries out for war to cease. A fat and golden turkey sitting pride of place While a frail and sickening mother pacifies her infant with a pallid looking paste. Peace on earth and mercy mild we sing for a day or two But look up and out into the world at a whirlwind daily that we brew Enjoy your celebration, your time of fleeting pleasure. And when it's done, lift up your heads and survey the suffering at your leisure!
Sorry if this is not jolly enough for Christmas but sometimes we need to piss on the bonfire to bring people back to reality!
