Drifting into a state of peace Never has it been this easy I clock into the world Before you ever disengage your R.E.M.
Eyes so heavy they know what to do Even on my days off they still make me feel Like slapping my clock Just five more minutes
Five minutes passes for about 30 sec before the second chime Only to remind me I only have five minutes to go.
Fighting the urge to give up the day Only to find it ringing again 4:25 I'm late, Good thing I only live five minutes away.
