"Help! Help!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I don't know what I have become, for I am now feeling pain, suffocation , and death nearby. This was never supposed to happen, and I do not deserve to be here. But before I can tell you that story, I should tell you this story.
"Come on, let's go." I said. I was nothing but a child back then, a real clumsy one I have to say, for a 6-year old. "I don't feel like it, and what if we get in trouble?" My older sister, Kayla had said to me. "It'll be fun" but as I said that while going to the grass, I accidentally walked up to the street and a car came straight at me! I closed my eyes and waited for the penalty of death, but nothing happened. I opened one eye and I couldn't believe it!
The car looks scrunched up and was damaged before it hit me. It was as if an invisible wall was between us. I heard something move-and I swear I saw eyes in the shadows. Maybe he (or she) knows why the car looks like it was in a car accident. But as I turn around to follow the dark eyes, I saw my sister's eyes were horrified! It was like she saw a ghost, or maybe did see a real ghost who was saving me! Finally, Kayla stood up and said, "Did you see that? I thought I saw a phantom or a man save you! It was a fast one, so I couldn't see him very much!"
After that incident, some other strange things are happening to me. For example, at school, I was waiting for my friend, Carol, to show up because she would be feared by a bully , Tomas. I kept waiting for a while until school was almost starting, but Carol didn't came. I was scared because Tomas knows if Carol is with me or not and if I'm not with her, he would wait in front of the school. There he was, asking, "Where's your bravest warrior? Does she think you're too weird to hang out with?" Tomas cracked his knuckles and said, "Now you will finally know not to-" but he was interrupted by what looked like someone head-butted him. Maybe the so-called-phantom was here! I better run to my class before Tomas thinks I punched him in the stomach.
In conclusion, when I was walking home as I always did, and saw the cranky old lady at her house, she was yelling,"Yer better leave out of my sight for the next three seconds or I will poke yer with me stick!" I ran like I was in a marathon , but I was too late. "Yer still 'ere, so here I come!" And boy was that old woman fast! But before she can hit me, the old lady fell to the ground and screamed, "I'll get you next time!"
I told Kayla and she said,"this is serious! The phantom probably wants something in return!" Questions came in my head that asked," Does the phantom wants to kill me? Why is he protecting me? Am I going to be important later in life?"
