What is all this hullabaloo about networking? Working a room to try and obtaining contacts for professional and personal gain. People go to gatherings and eye each other up, ask obtuse questions, and pretend to be someone who there not.
Absolutely ridiculous; this world is rotting to absolute heartlessness and paranoia.
What ever happened to simply meeting new people and making friends?
