Alice looked onward. “Curious” she murmured as she cautiously took a step forward.

Wonderland, as she had affectionately named it had changed. The purple skies were blue and the forest where she had met the Cheshire Cat was nowhere to be seen. Instead sat the wreck of an old house, unlike any she had seen before. It looked as if it deserved to be on a farm, not in Wonderland, a place quite different to any she had seen or could think of seeing.

“Perhaps then..” Alice thought, “this is precisely why this house needs to be here” she turned on her heel. “I have never seen this house before just like I have never seen anything quite like Wonderland before.”

Alice was confident, and reassured by her assumption. Yes. She was in Wonderland, but just whereabouts in Wonderland was she?

Determined to find something familiar, if at all possible in Wonderland, Alice moved around the side of the house, almost tripping over a pair of legs in red and white stockings. She looked further on and saw the strangest of sights. There were no talking caterpillars, Mad Hatters or talking rabbits, just a small town full of unattended children and a winding yellow brick road.
