(Before you read the poem I made, I'm going to explain a little what the 'Red String Theory' is because that is what my poem about and I feel like its necessary to understand what it is and also, it's a really neat idea. "The red string theory" originates from a Chinese proverb provided here: An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break. Also known as the 'red string of fate' it is commonly identified as the fate between two lovers, but it is also known to represent people's relationships with others and that everyone they meet is because of fate. Anyways, here is the poem. I hope you enjoy!)
"THE RED STRING"
Tied to me Tied to you A string that is never to break in two
Even though it twists in some areas In others, there may be knots But it stands for something beautiful It stands for two hearts that love each other a lot
Always it stays connected To me and to you A little red string More significant than anything That little red string Will show our love is true
