In Your Name

I wrote this song lyric when I was 22, when fame was a frustrating issue and good friends, few. I wrote this for someone, in return it saved me.

[verse 1]
Watch all the flowers bloom in your glory,
The present sun is crimson red
In its thrill to seek its own

[chorus]
Fly high, it's not always the same
Like a lady when taught to be a dame
Stay high, cause soon you'll know your name
It's not always about the fame

[verse 2]
The paradox to the way of life
Is you always have not to just survive
So in your name, I'll sing with grace
The beauty which one cannot erase

[outro]
In your name, I've found home
It's in your name I'll sing with grace

I love the line about singing with grace, so simple yet sweet.

@Nom (: it felt right when I wrote it but thank you for noticing the little things!☺
