Man once measured fear in the things that he dared not do, that it was always more favored than thinking. Fear consumes its victims and leads him to believe that one is made without reason, only weakness. One's capacity to 'think' in this instance will not be able to exist in fair play. But with that said, those who insisted and had carefully thought through the situation had little or no fear at all.
As svendsen spoke on the philosophy of fear, he mentioned undoubtably that "..fear is shaping our space of action." Surely, then, the reasons for thinking through may not appeal to many as it exhausts thoroughly the stimulation of one's mind, but determining the choice you make changes a factor that you have the power to comprehend. Of course one must remember that there musn't be room for uncertainty as all it does is to generate more fear. A person's perspective will also aid in equipping him/her with the necessary understanding in handling varying situations at hand.
Here is an example, "I am not made to fail because I was made to succeed" vs "I am made to succeed because I have made reasons to succeed" each draws a very distinct line of difference to each other with the latter having a little more foundation towards its goal.
Someone once told me that your life is a canvas, you are the artist and at that very moment as well, You, are the picture. Your decisions, your lessons. It is
all You.
In my humble opinion though, I believe that fear has its very own competitor - Love. Love tames our fears, and refines it into something less provocative. I can't quite explain it myself but in time to come, you will see.
This is your picture to paint, it is time you live to paint something amazing.
