You look wonderful in that dress, they say. Yes. I do feel wonderful.
But when I look in the mirror, sneak a glance at my reflection in a window. I see my pudgy arms, my non-existant waist, my greasy hair and my enormous feet.
And then I look again. And I'm back to my normal shape and size. But my mental image stays the same.
