I was so happy but at the same time I still had the memories of Luis and Claire in the back of my head and I just couldn't shake them. I was trying to forget as I walked down to the pool. I was on holiday, I came here to have a good time and get away from those thoughts and that as exactly what I was going to do. I got so wrapped up in those thoughts that I wasn't even looking where I was going when I walked straight into him and nearly fell head first in the water. There he was, standing towering over me, those blue eyes, dark hair, cute smile. That was the first time I ever saw Connor and it was love at first sight. I instantly forgot about Luis and Connor was the only thing on my mind. I smiled apologetically and he just laughed, he saw the embarrassment in my face and didn't seem to mind. He was different, any other guy would have laughed at me, he laughed with me and it was nice.
'Hi there, sorry about that I was in the way, are you okay?'
'Oh no, I'm sorry I was in a world of my own, I'm fine thanks...My names Jami by the way, nice to meet you'
'Jami, that's a cute name, I'm Connor, nice to see someone I can finally talk to around here. I've been here for the past couple of days and no one seems to speak English but at least I have you to talk to now'
'I guess you do' I laughed
'I'm sorry but I have to go, my parents are expecting me back so we can go out to eat, I'm sure I will see you around, watch out so you don't walk into anyone else' he winked at me and then walked away 'See you later Jami!' he called out as he walked away. I was fixed I couldn't take my eyes off him as he spoke, the words just seemed to roll off his tongue with such softness, he was kind and funny and I wanted to see him again. Actually I wanted to run after him and spend the rest of the day with him, but he was busy and like he said I'll see him around. All my dreams were coming true, I was in St Lucia, I was staying in my dream room and I had just run into the guy of my dreams...
