I stood outside the door, listening in to everything that was being said, I knew it was about someone I couldn't quite make out who though. He and she was all anyone was being called. One of the guys from the party downstairs had walked out of the room just before I reached the top of the stairs, his name was Joe and he was my best mate, Chloe's boyfriend. They hadn't been together that long, only a month, but she was head over heels for him. I wondered why he'd been in this girls bedroom when Chloe was downstairs and they were meant to be coming to the party together, so I thought it was appropriate for me to find out what had been going on. It sounded as though they were two other girls in there but I couldn’t tell who it was, I just heard one of them screaming, 'Chloe is downstairs, what would you have done if she walked in on you?!' 'I don't know, I don't know why I did it, it just happened, we just happened!' the other girl shouted back 'That sort of thing doesn't just happen between two friends, that has been going on for longer than just tonight. Hasn't it?!' 'No I swear!! It might have been coming but nothing has happened before!!' 'You mean to tell me, you were flirting with him and leading him on while he was with Chloe!! Jenna, you were trying to have an affair with Joe!! One of your closest mates boyfriend!! How could you?!'
Jenna!! Jenna, was another one of my best friends. There were four of us, Chloe, Jenna, Lucy and I. Joe cheated on Chloe with Jenna!! What was she thinking I didn’t know what to do. And all the time Chloe had been in the same house having absolutely no idea what had been happening upstairs. She was being cheated on by her boyfriend with her best friend!! I was stunned, we had come to Lucy's for her 16th birthday party and it was meant to be the best party of the year, one to remember. Well there's definitely going to be something to remember from this night...
