These chain links gone, I'm free at last.
They held me back for far too long, But finally I've shook them off.
I didn't wish to be trapped with the past, Where some of it lived with constant stupid regret.
Where the weight pulled me down, stopping me from living my life.
Making me sit there missing opportunities, as I kept thinking about it once, twice, even thrice!
So yes! The chains are gone!
Which I'm so bloody relieved about, because I'm now free to move on...
