(Inspired by Lindsey Stirling violin Dubstep- elements)
The music played through me, Like the wind was with my hair.
Nothing is the same anymore, But who really cares.
I told them "I could fly if I wished" They Laughed in my face, Told me to prove it if I dared
So now I'm here on the cliff edge, Looking at the waves below me. Fighting for what I believe.
Adrenalin pumping through my bones, And the music plays on oblivious to my peers jest and jeers.
I'm not gonna make it ! is a thought I shan't entertain in my head.
Instead I just let the music seep in to my veins, and start to dance with the air.
We move as one, In sync. I know I can do this, It's all I've ever truly dreamt.
The music rises, Pulling me to the edge. It's seductive sound calling me aloud in my head.
Come child! Come!
No , Not yet
I move back, And turn to look back on them.
The sneers on their faces, Are like those of a gargoyle beast.
"See she moves back to safety! She's a coward, a liar, a thief of dreams!"
"No, I'm not! Nor will I ever be"
And with that I depart. They mean nothing to me, Merely a distant memory.
The music plays louder and louder in my head. Thrumming through my body, Changing me inside and out. Consuming me whole in it's beat.
So as I reach the end of the cliff I leap...! The music rises, as I fall towards the sea.
The group stop, Shock pulling them away from the scene. Silence echoing loudly in them. The music having taken the leap of faith with me.
And what the group couldn't...didn't see, Was the beautiful white wings that sprung free. And carried me across sea, To my dreams...
but the music of freedom, freedom to believe, stayed, and played on softly. Waiting for the next person to truly believe in their dreams...
To help them achieve ...
So they too ...can fly away free....
