So one day I gazed

I gazed up, up in the sky

I saw that bright light

That bright light, the moon

I thought of Mr. Moon & Miss Earth

I thought of all the things they must love

They must really love each other

To spend all night dancing

Whirling and twirling

But Miss Earth is kind, she shares Mr. Moon, with the rest of the gazers during the day

Then I gazed at you,

I saw your warm smile

That warm smile, I laughed

And I thought of Mr. Moon & Miss Earth

I thought of how much we love each other

But I'm not like Miss Earth, I'm selfish you see

I'd spend all day and all night dancing with you

Keep you to myself

I feel sorry for the other gazers,

They don't get to whirl and twirl

With you, my Mr. Moon
