If a cloud could lift me up
Taking me in to the sky
Would my problems just drift
Like the clouds who pass me by?
If I could take away the pain
Of all the horrors happening
Each and every single day
Would it make the world better?
If I could have enough food
To feed every starving person
In every corner of the world
Will hunger cease to ever be?
If I could make every evil thought
That pops into an evil mind
Be replaced with those of care
Would mankind be any happier?

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
As I sit, I watch and learn, About myself and life in turn. I see so clear, What I thought I knew, That truth is not always true. As I sit, The world goes by, No thought of me, alone I cry.
Starlight bright up in the sky, So many questions, I Wonder why. Starlight bright will never die. So many questions, So many lies. Starlight bright why do we cry. An essential lesson.
Wouldn't it be funny if life didn't end. Wouldn't it be funny if wounds didn't mend. Wouldn't it be funny if people lived forever. Wouldn't it be funny if forever was never.
There is a place, Halfway between heaven and hell, Where your sins are offset by your kindness. Your love is cherished, Your honesty rewarded, And your anger judged.
Tomorrow, won't you wait for me.
Round around yet still unbound, Feel astounded by the sound. Full with nothing, zeal abound, Some confound the will, profound. And yet though they may turn away, Stars will spin and grass will sway.
I'm right here. Where are you. I know my place. Do you. I'm talking. Are you listening. I'm hearing. Are you talking. I'm believing. Can you. We are the same. Humans alike. My mind is mine.
Where is the dream that was promised. The vision that guided, The truth that was decided. Where is the Dawn of the new creation. Where is the celebration. All that exists now is anticipation.
