The candles heart listens
To my outpour on life
I seek it's warmth now
Gathering all it's light
Attentively it hears me
In all my sweet glory
Kissing every word of mine
Hugging each splendoured letter
Reaching for me inside
To open up all my fears
For it knows it can guide me
To what is my destiny
Wanting so much to soothe
My aches and hurts away
Considering my needs now
It will hold me very near
A comfort to one another
As I gently and quietly
Pass from this life
