He lays me down For my body to ascend To a higher state of being Native calls he has sent
He had chosen me And willingly I chose him too My Lakota lover His spirit in the wind blew
Out of my body I'm thrilled by heights unknown Within the wilds of nature My purity and passion have grown
The Warbonnet of eagle feather Caressed his beautiful face They stroke me gently now My spirit is going to a free place
Just one touch from him And I can see all, now and then His power so very provocative To a higher state of consciousness I'm sent
I look deep into him now A story of past and present unfolds He whispers to me softly Calling me 'Little One of the Wolves'
Together we lay there On a deerskin rug, warm and safe Within a wigwam of love My warrior holds me in his embrace
He has shown me things Untold things that I'll not forget Native history spoke to me Telling me that nature deserves respect
He and his tribe are at one With the animals and the earth His people are the worlds heartbeat This is taught to them from birth
He kisses my closed eyes Tells me that without him I'll soon wake But first I must dance for him The Ghost Dance I perform for my mate
I feel myself descending I'm coming out of my hypnotic trance I hear my lovers voice fading "Tomorrow I'll return, dance little one dance"
