I have itchy feet A world for me to explore Although I'm happy I'm hungry for more
My life is ticking I can't slow down time There's so much I want Too much to make mine
I'm a country girl But crave city life I've only been a mum And a loving wife
It's not that I'm bored But I've let life slip by I never had a desire To question or wonder why?
I can't ignore my feelings Go back to how it was I cannot explain it fully I don't want to cause a fuss
I'm grasping life by the balls Taking it with eager hands Those close and dear to me Need to be supportive of my plans
No looking at yesterday's Tomorrow is what now counts No more held back by fear And suffocating doubts
So hold my hand right now Together we'll face new things Instead of dreading tomorrow I can't wait for what it brings
