I stand here
Just staring at empty space
I daren't feel
My fears I cannot face
They twist my gut
My chest feels tight
In this tunnel of mine
There is no saving light
I walk with a dark cloud
Shoulders heavy with weight
Don't judge me
My fears penetrate
Inner turmoils
Eat away through all of me
They take slow painful bites
No one can hear or see
I want to just lay down
Close my eyes for a while
A little respite
In my dream I dare to smile
