Pretend things are different
I need to ignore
My feelings for you, I cannot confront
We can never be
A togetherness that cannot begin
But if I'm honest
My heart and mind are in a spin
Your words touch me
In places that have never been explored
They sit deep
Piled high in my heart, but have to be ignored
