When life was a heavy load I laid it down on the ground Took only what I needed My sleep was finally sound
When I felt I was always giving Never getting much in return I lightened my load some more For others a lesson had been learned
When I felt like I was failing I used to be down on myself But made myself get up again For happiness was my wealth
Life can be funny and sad With all it's twists and turns I love others but live for myself My love and friendship is earned
