Short has been my time
Here on Opuss I say
But now I am here
For the duration I will stay
A friend to me
Recommended the Opuss app
She knew my love of writing
Some good and some crap
You see for many years
Writing has been a friend of mine
I kept it hidden away
Too scared to let me shine
I now write all sorts
Poems, prose, stories of many
Designed some funny cards
Been published yet?....not any
I just decided one day
That writing is what I do
It's the only gift I have
I'm a writer through and through

Our stage for us to now shine
