Christmas can do funny things To those who are shattered and broke The festive time can be difficult Such sad feelings it can evoke
If you are already feeling alone Christmas is a lonely time For a head that is confused Can stress a worried mind
Into the depths of despair Some poor souls do fall Christmas has thrown them in Upon their hands and knees they crawl
It's a dark place to be When all around you is bright It's an ever hard struggle Inner demons you constantly fight
For some it's all too much They just want the pain to end Their leaving of this life Into turmoil, their families are sent
To lose someone you love Is a heartbreaking loss Just before christmas Is a barrier so hard to cross
So if you see someone sad During this festive time Try and give your hand Reach out and show a face so kind
For some this can mean So so very much It can bring happiness Just from a gentle touch
