I have a new household pet
He really is a sweet little chap
I found him in my conservatory
I had him sit upon my lap
You see he is a special thing
Instead of 8 legs, he has six
He is known to be a Crab Spider
And he can perform tricks
A spider of his kind
Can change colour to suit
Whatever environment
They are in...how very cute?
He blends into my carpet
He is quite hard to spot
But he often comes out
I really like him a lot
I didn't think he would live
When I first found him there
But he is doing very well
With my tender loving care
He lives under my sofa
Where he's safe and sound
Just have to keep an eye out
Whilst I'm hoovering around
I wish I could show him you
As he is a sight to see
Maybe you could grow to love him
Or is it only me?
