Was I merely a memory That faded over time?
Was I just someone You just so happened to find?
Was I just a someone To keep the loneliness at bay?
Was I just convenient As long as I didn't get in the way?
Was I just a face with no voice Who's opinion never mattered?
Was I just a person Who's dreams you came to shatter?
Was I just a nobody I just served my purpose well?
Was I ever anything to you? Of course you never did tell
