Today is the anniversary Of the end of me and you Forgive me for a while Indulge my being blue
We would sit for hours Underneath the shadowy moon Hold hands and laugh a lot Kissing, we would swoon
Together we would talk As we gaze up at the stars Teasingly you would joke How I probably came from Mars
I thought those times Would forever be true But life never wanted us To be a forever me and you
Our paths would separate I left to live mine You left to live yours But in my heart alls not fine
When we would stare At the stars in the sky Never did I believe One day would be goodbye
