Once upon a time there lived a greedy little squirrel who wanted all the nuts in the forest for himself. The greedy little squirrel watched as the other little squirrels collected and buried their nuts, and as he watched he had a great idea. He kept a note of all the other squirrel's hiding places, and when they had all gone to bed, he snuck out to dig them up.
After digging up all the buried nuts he still wasn't satisfied. Luckily he had already thought up another great plan. Since the other squirrels slept so soundly through the night, he decided to collect the nuts from the trees while the other squirrels slept. He worked tirelessly till dawn until every nut had been collected and were safely stashed away in his home.
All the nuts in the forest were finally his! He ate so many nuts he thought he'd burst and what he couldn't eat he admired, but soon he grew very lonely. He really missed the other little squirrels and wanted to play. He rushed outside excitedly only to find that the other squirrels had fled the forest, leaving the greedy little squirrel all alone, with only his nuts to play with.
