It was a very dark night
Quite creepy you see
On the night my fears
Made the better of me
I was trotting in the graveyard
At half ten at night
When something jumped up
And gave me a fright
At first, I thought it my imagination
My head in a flurry
But then I saw something odd
Which set me off in a hurry
It was a black shadow
In the shape of a human being
And when I saw it
I realised what I had been seeing
Ghosts and zombies
Phantoms and things
Oh boy I did wish
I saw an angel with its beautiful wings
But that wasn't going to happen
It was quite clear to see
On the night my fears
Made the better of me
