Chapter 1 Our story begins at precisely 06:38am in the morning on the 1st January 2002. Two twins, named Jack and Jill were born to mother Judy, and father John. Jack was born 23 seconds before Jill which means he is older by that tiny period of time. Their parents were both very, very kind and did everything they could to support their beloved twins. Judy and John adored traveling consequently the twins went on many holidays. When they were only 1 month old, John and Judy flew off to South Africa with their newly born twins. The twins slept the whole journey and woke up at the same time. However Jack woke up 23 seconds before Jill. As the twins grew older, they became best friends. One would believe that two twins could never get along, but not in this case. They played together, they went to the park together and they even destined to live with each other when they got older. The twins were extremely popular. If the twins were to walk past, Jill holding a picnic basket lined with spotty material, and John snacking on an apple, children would look out the windows and say to their mothers: “Mother look! Its Jill and Jack!" 'Jill and Jack mum! They're over the road!" The twins would wave merrily to the children and beckoned them to play. They joined them and together they all skipped to the park.
John and Judy were extremely proud of their children. They were both very intelligent, their strong points Arithmetic and Science. They tried hard in lessons and were always picked for rounders and cricket tournaments. They also completed many chores without moaning and complaining. But most of all the twins loved to read. If they weren't at the park, they would read to each other and eventually fall to sleep on the cosy brown sofa. They would read The Famous Five, The Secret Seven but most of all they loved adventure stories. Jack and Jill were definitely two very special children.
