I would not want to hurt you so
It's not my intention to cause harm
Ragged edges is all I have to display
A poorly assembled state of emotion
Love has not been defined in my mind
So careful as you reach out to me
A sharp tongue and sharper thoughts might await
I cannot help my prickly disposition
