The giant crab monster took a wild swing at Allen. In sheer panic, Allen raised a column of stone that blocked the crab's attack and even encased its arm. The monster fumbled around trying to free its arm. Allen took this as his chance for a counter attack, so he used the power slash on the creature's arm, cutting it clean in half. "It's super effective!" Risa exclaimed, "But normal type moves aren't super effective against anything!" Allen replied. "Oh yeah, huh?" Risa replied back. The monster took another swing at Allen, and again he raised a block of stone leading to the same result. The monster's other arm was encased in stone. Allen used the power slash once more cutting off its other arm. The monster seemed furious as it stomped the ground around it. Little tinier crab monsters came done from the ceiling as the monster shook the room. "Don't worry I got this!" Risa yelled as she prepared the rifle. She'd kill each one, one after the other as they'd all dissipate soon after they were killed. The big crab monster began to screech, as suddenly sharp crystals began to drop from the ceiling above. Allen took a few hits but not enough for a serious, Risa was also as fortunate. King was out of range entirely so he was perfectly fine. Allen then created a big block of stone above the monster, and dropped it, stunning the monster almost instantly. Allen climbed up to the monster's back and soon enough a symbol appeared because it was reacting to the white sword. Allen stabbed the symbol. A large amount of dark sand flew out and stuck to Allen like a sticky black tar. "Ewwww, what the hell?!" Allen shouted. The monster seemed to awake from its daze even more angry than usual, causing Allen to fall off it's back. It's arms even grew back really quickly. In shock, Allen paused for a few moments giving the monster a clear window of time to attack. "Not on my watch!" Risa yelled as she fired a round. The bullet was encased in electricity, which in turn ended up stunning the monster once more. Allen regained focus after a split second then said "Thanks Risa!" he quickly jumped back up onto the monster's back looking for its weak point. Another symbol appeared but this time in a different spot although it wasn't too far from the previous spot. "This ends here!!!" Allen exclaimed as he jumped up and crashed the blade down onto the symbol. A geyser of dark sand spewed from the monster's wound as it came crashing down. Allen dropped down as the monster dissipated soon after leaving the dark sand to float around in it's place. "Hey King," Risa asked, "what's this floating sand for?" "I'm not too sure..." King Replied, "Your thoughts Allen?" Allen looked at the sands for a while and reached out to touch them. As soon as he touched a grain, all of the sand seeped into his right hand. Bringing him extreme pain as he fell to the floor. "Allen?!?!" King and Risa both yelled in unison as they rushed toward him. Allen began to slowly lose consciousness until he finally just knocked out.

What came next was a powerful shock to Allen's body.

The voice left Allen's head soon after. Allen began to regain consciousness, the area was some sort of forest. It appeared to be night time and it seemed like King and Risa had managed a steady fire. Allen found himself laying down with his head resting on Risa's lap. "Hi there sleepyhead. Find any 'bees in the corn' in that dream?" said Risa. "What? Oh, no but I did hear voices in my head..." said Allen "How long have I been out?" "Five hours," King replied, "but it's good to see you're doing well." Allen looked to his left hand, there was a dark spot where his palm was. "Experience it?" Allen said to himself as he held his hand up. "Whoa," said Risa, "When did that happen?" "I'm not too sure." Allen replied, "but it obviously means something right?... Hey King what's our next target?" "Well, this time, it's a two header." said King. "Two stones? But that's out of place isn't it? So there'd only be eleven temples instead of twelve?" replied Allen. "there's still twelve temples, it's just in some of them a single element is comprised of multiple elements," King explained, "of course there's more protection to those temples with three or two sacred elements. The next ones on our list are the aquamarine and the bloodstone." "Two elements huh?" Said Risa, "on a scale of one to ten, how dangerous would it be to obtain said elements?" "Five?" King replied, "it shouldn't be that dangerous this time around though, because as of now I'm going to join you two in the fray." King then pulled up a sword he seemed to have been working on. "Took me a while to make this, nine months at most..." said King. "Well that's great," said Risa "but how about we just get some sleep. We won't have any chance of making it through this if we're practically falling asleep all the time." "Fair enough." said King. "But do you mind if you give Allen and me some privacy?" said Risa, "I wanted to talk to him in private for a bit..." "That's fine, so long as you don't brutally murder him..." King replied, as he began to walk away to give the two some distance. "So, what do you think our back up plan is?" Risa asked, "You know... After all of... this?" "What do you mean, back up plan?" Allen replied, "There's nothing to back up to. Everything of that city is completely destroyed. I'm not even sure if we'll even get through all of this, and even if we do, there is no hope for us." Risa paused, then said "What about the huma-" "You think the humans will help us? You saw how Maiza reacted to us, how will the others react differently, they'll take out their pitchforks and torches and try to kill us..." "We won't know until we try right?" Said Risa, "Besides, we're in this together, they try to kill us, I'll back you up." Allen thought for a moment about if the humans were really like Maiza. "Allen?" said Risa, "I'm still here too you know... At least let me know what you're thinking..." "It's nothing, nothing important..." Allen replied, Risa gave Allen a hug and said "We're friends, the least you can do is let me hear you out, I'm right here, let me help you. Have a problem? We'll tackle it together." "Thanks Risa," Allen replied, "but I'm perfectly fine..." Risa and Allen were silent for a moment, Risa let go soon afterwards, and said, "Welp, I'm gonna sleep... Good night Allen..." "Sleep tight..." Allen replied. Risa laid down and tried to get into a comfortable position but couldn't seem to do so, she then said, "... You don't mind if I sleep up next to you do you? I usually do it with a pillow, but there is no pillow nearby, soooo..." "fine, go ahead..." Allen replied. She then curled up next to Allen and she seemed really comfortable. Allen stared at the flames for a brief period of time. "As god as my witness, I will avenge our fair city..." said Allen, he then relaxed his body and fell asleep beside Risa
Meanwhile, at the League of the Damned...
Kaiza seemed to be pacing around, talking to herself, "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK!!!!" "For god's sake girl," Kaizo responded, "what the hell is the matter with you?" "Why are we still on standby?!" Kaiza exclaimed, "We should be out there taking what's ours! But nooooooo this asshole new leader of ours wants us to sit here and do nothing. Damnit, I seriously want to let off some steam, ever since that Maiza kid came over and kicked our ass I've been freaking PISSED!" "It is a little weird that our leader isn't taking action..." Kaizo responded, "But we still have to respect that. And that boy was very annoying, what the hell did he take anyway?" "Some cube looking thingy," Kaiza responded, "I don't see why he needed it though..." "cube?..." said Kaizo "Well it looked like a cube, it was all shiny and stuff." said Kaiza. "You mean the... Zeta?" Said Kaizo. "maybe, why?" Kaiza asked. "Fucking idiota! That's why we're on standby, we're freaking powerless!" Kaizo yelled as he looked towards his hand. He managed to summon his scythe, but it soon collapsed into a jumble of pieces. Kaiza summoned her guns but when she pulled the triggers, the guns broke apart falling to the ground as well. "But if we're powerless, how come other demons are still out there doing their stuff?" Kaiza asked, "We are granted a higher rank than the other demons for our skill, so we are granted special energy weapons which are all powered by the Zeta," Kaizo explained, "other demons, the canon falter, rely on claws or something like that." "So what do we do now?" Kaiza asked. Kaizo picked up a nearby pipe and said, "We go from village to village and beat the crap out of people to find this White sword." "Wasn't that destroyed along with their city?" Kaiza responded. "Nope, the boss man said it himself, it's still out there in the hands of a kid." said Kaizo, "And if their city is destroyed, then where else would the kid go?" Kaiza thought for a moment, then said, "Sure, I'll tag along." she picked up a pipe than said "I never liked these kinds of weapons, but it's always more fun to beat a piñata than to shoot it." and with that the two went out to find this boy.
When Allen woke up, he noticed that Risa was wrapped tightly around him. "Sorry to wake you," said Allen, "but I would like to move please." Risa began to wake up and then she noticed what she was doing. "Oh! Um... So s-s-sorry..." "It's fine, so long as you just.. You know.. Let me go." Allen responded. "Yes, yes of course."
