My name is very regal, very dominant indeed. My name means 'joy' or 'freeman' But it comes from across the sea....
A German lass, she brought it here, then wed our old King George. She was a cheeky, clever lass, Not one to sit there, bored.
She was the type with flair, creativity a must. She'd support many a writer, intellectuals and artists!
Well ain't that kinda funny? Ain't it kinda great? I hope in my small way here, I do a little of the same....?!
She passed the name on then, to her own daughter, rich and royal. So the name became quite popular with those who were Monarch-Loyal!
I guess the name, it seems to stick more so in well-off quarters? But that's certainly not the case with me, I'm a working man's daughter!!!
Although I'd like to think that I do add some grace and style, And if you met me, I would hope, you'd like to stay a while....?
There is one other meaning to the name of Caroline, which states: 'Beautiful Woman' That's the Latin and I like it just fine!!!!!!
