Chapter 2 ~~~~~~~~
The other day I went over to my grandmother's house. I wish she was this really smart, wise old lady that gave me advice and helped dye my hair. In reality, she's just full blown crazy. I think everyone knows it but they're just too sad to acknowledge it because she use to be cool and pretty and drive her husband's convertible even though he didn't want her to. Anyway, while I was over there with my mom-they were just talking about how one of grandma's friend's husband died-I went downstairs to watch television. A rerun of Friends was on that I decided to skip back between Spongebob. My favorite characters are Phoebe and Joey because they're insane (in the good grandma dyes my hair pink kind of way) and hilarious. It would be impossible to not be friends with them. Maybe that's why they called the show that. Either way they draw attention like bacon on a stick does at the state fair. I can barely capture people's attention long enough to finish my stories, so that sounds like would be heaven. Maybe it's just my story-telling skills at fault. Once when I was in the middle of telling a really funny story, I got nervous. Everyone's attention was on me and I liked it because I knew when we got to the punchline they were going to laugh. I had to give backstory first or else no one would understand the joke. It could have been I was rambling or something but people started to talk and then others started talking. In a matter of seconds they completely forgot about me and the butter on my uncle's foot I was just about to tell them about. There was this one girl next to be who asked what happened next and it was nice of her but she couldn't make me feel better. I guess there are some things that should be left how it is or else be turned into something worse. I should try to capture attention like Joey and Phoebe. It comes to naturally to them. They're lovable like my dog when he pulls his head from the snow and there's still some one his muzzle. Rule number two: be like Phoebe and Joey.
