And on the eighth day, God wept. But they don't tell you that In church, in school. In any books, texts Because what they Don't want is For you to know This:
Out of his tears, Came the seven virtues Out of his tears, Came the seven sins Out of his tears, Came all the tangles The highlights The bad things in life.
And they don't want you To know this They're scared of it Of you realising That all of it, every piece Is part of the Plan.
'I know that!' you say 'I've got that pat-down.' 'Not quite yet,' I remind you. 'He wants you to feel this, The shine and the hurt.'
Sit and think awhile Though you may have Already About the big Puzzle What is free will? What is true peace?
God wept, and It wasn't just for us He gave what he could And was it enough?
