5 March 2013

Like a miracle- A legend, a myth A snow day is upon us Joyfully, we sleep.

To Jack Frost, we thank And the superintendent too Though he's from Alaska And really has no clue

How precious snow days are Happening once in a moon blue Not enough to have a two-hour late start The world in white once more

Shovels and snowblowers Are the music lessons today The bright orange of the snowplows The feeling of 'JUST NO' in math

I've yet to look out my window But I'm sure I'll be awed at the view Snow, snow everywhere On everything Oh, Minnesota, this is what you do best.
