The door closed with a creak and clicked shut behind me. I panicked, trying the doorknob, scanning for windows. It seemed as if the walls of the room were pressing in on me, suffocating, trying to crush me as I searched desperately for a way out.

I knew there wasn't, not unless I....

A loud voice sliced through the air.

Oh, that's right. Breathe deeply. Be calm. It will work better that way.

I ran a hand through my hair, making a face as I remembered why that wasn't a good idea. Recently, I had had it shortened- not my style, at all. But it looked nice - or rather, had.

The voice rang again, and I took a few deep breaths before the fear could settle in again. I gave a grim nod, imagining myself a bit like Payten Farquhar when I tried the door again, to no avail.

Scurrying to the opposite side of the room, around the clutter and chaos that came when the place I was in was smashed in, I managed to wedge myself into a corner. Admittedly, it didn't serve as a great corner as far as corners go, but it completed its intended effect.

The door flew in, kicked by something powerful! I didn't need to disguise or alter my shock, and I dropped what I held in my hand.

Slowly, achingly, the door opened. The shadow of a huge, heavy man projected across the clutter, breathing deeply, as if... Sniffing?

I shivered, leaned back. He would find me- that was inevitable. I choked off a frightened sob. He heard me.

Gasping for air to my terror-frozen lungs, I panicked. He had looked right at me! "No..." fell from my lips.

I trembled. He lowered his face to my level, grinning a horrible, bloodstained grin. I let out a whimper. He chuckled, low and dark, promising shadows and years of this fright. I closed my eyes, drawing a breath.

The voice called again.

I took another deep breath as I opened my eyes, offering a shaky smile to him.

"Well done!" Others called, and I gratefully accepted his outstretched hand to help me rise.

"To the both of us," I told him, as we stepped out of the set. Outside, the sun was shining. I let my mind drift off to plans on what to do with the rest of my day. We were done filming, for now.
