Ah, the dragon Being of might and glory A god amongst gods From the rivers and the stories
It is time for them to leave now Their presence uncontested But the dwelling of immortals Can never be too short.
Brave, outspoken These people had their time The divinity of the dragon Must too, say goodbye
The times and times before it The animals, all in a line Celebrated with a new year As so we shall celebrate the next
We clean, we smile We eat in good cheer Eradicate the ghosts of past Start again, start anew
Red decorates everywhere it can Firecrackers pop in the night Dancing dragons, feet rising, jaws snapping Usher in the renewal.
The snake, the clever snake Self-aware and silent We celebrate it just the same Good qualities of life.
To a prosperous new year! One filled with all your friends! The snake, with joy, joins us- Wealth and wisdom Perception and inspiration to you!
