I started here six years ago, At the age of seventeen, I am now the age of twenty three, Who is following her dream.
Helping to care for the elderly, Like any job at times, Can be hard and sometimes difficult, With confusion in there minds.
Patience is the key factor here, I no it can be tough, But each day that passes by, We never say 'enough'.
Every resident is different, In there own unique way, Some may shout, some may cry, But there mood can change through the day.
They can sometimes be happy, And other times quite sad, We try our best each day and night, And even when there mad.
No job is too much for us, We care, we cook, we clean, We pull together day and night, and work hard as a team
We're not just here for the residents, We're here for the families too, Doesn't matter what time of day, We will always be there for you.
Happy are the girls that work here, No job is too big or small, But I'm sure we would agree that to our residents, That us carers love you all
