I took care going through in my mind what just happened: I met a handsome stranger, talked to him, and even kissed him- when I say kissed I mean accidentally touched his lips. That was enough for one day. Deciding to analyse my thoughts and shock I started to take long strides back to the emerald green field, wishing to know more about this Alek.
When I reached the field, I propped myself on the soft grass and opened my ancient leather satchel; a bottle of water, ham sandwiches, an apple and my sketching pad was carefully lying at the bottom. Taking a sip from my bottle, I took out my sketching pad and my pencil. What could I draw? I had already drawn a rabbit, a very detailed forest -that I'm very proud of- my satchel and nice little patch of daisies that I spotted on this very field in July. But no people. Why not? Because I was a lover of nature, and peace. Not to say I hated people- I have friends, my little sister, my father and my mother, my aunt, and my only remaining grandad and of course my cousin Katie. I love them all, but I love nature too. It's quite often that I walk up to the field and sketch, or take a walk in the forest with Katie or Jessica and Emily- my friends. But today. Today I met Alek. Someone very unexpected. Someone I wouldn't dare tell about. The warmth from his lips still remained on mine, and I pondered if I would ever see him again. And that was the though that made my pencil move, sketching his soft, hazelnut hair and his leaf green eyes. I continued to embrace what I saw in that mysterious forest, not even sure if 'Alek' was real. The boy on my sketch pad soon grew another feature- a smile. And happy with my work, I smiled back.
