I had to take action. Not just stand here. The opportunity was opening it's doors in front of me, and I wasn't stepping in! Crying was not going to change anything. I had to try and save the ones I loved before their lives were destroyed. If they haven't already been. Sighing, I put my emotions together into one cluster and began packing my things. Alek silently watched me.
"Natasha, If where your going is where I think your going..." He said.
"Yes Alek I'm going home, I'm going to save them" I replied, not even looking up once.
"They might not even be at risk! They might be-" Alek explained, but I cut him of.
"I dont care! All this 'might be, might not be' nonsense doesn't mean anything to me. Even if there not at risk at the moment, I'm sure they will be one day, and I'll make sure I'm there to protect them!" I shouted. And still continued packing.
"You don't understand! What if this is HIS plan! What if you come thinking your going to save your family, but HE is waiting for you right there! You could get kidnapped again, or even worse, get murdered! Remember how you betrayed him? Well he's going to want revenge!"
"No, it's you who doesn't understand! What if this was your family huh? What if you knew that they were going to be murdered, and you knew you had the chance to save them? I'm sorry for what happened to your parents Alek, but I don't want that to happen to mine"
And with that, I put my extra warm jumper on, and I ran of. I knew it was wrong leaving Alek, and I did feel guilty, but this was a risk I would have to take.
