Ugh why must I have such a stressful life?
It's always full of strife!
First exams and GSCE trials,
Coursework- the building pile,
Monday's are of course German vocab tests!
Ya. Das ist ein mess!
Oh and don't forget the homework for 'Maths club'
That was of course by force by my lovely mum,
Oooh Piano! Don't forget practise makes perfect- my teacher says,
And she expects me to play for two hours A DAY!
And then I have a Saturday Russian school!
Wake up at nine and come back eleven,
Images having three languages in your head- twenty four seven?
And for homework it's Russian essays, reading books, and learning poems of by heart!
Sheesh... I have a great life and playing part...
And then chores?
Anything more?
What about English tuition,
Of course my parents accepted that mission,
So really now tell me how do I get the time?
To even type this and the bells to chime,
Well being a teenager can be an unlucky card,
Especially when your parents think that everyone works this hard...

Wow, and I thought learning one language was hard enough! o-o; Y'know, I have a friend who's a little like you. Her mother's always pushing her to be the best she can be, making her go to every single club there is, making her achieve A* in every single subject. She finds it pretty hard.
@MrsS @Mattebreon thanks guys... It's just I find my parents push me around too much! You know, making me to things I don't want to do. Yet I guess it's for my my own good, it could do me better in the future! 😏❤😣😲
@musicalmissy It's certainly better than having no interest from your parents and therefore ending up with no opportunities in life, but one must be careful not to overdo it! There are limits (everyone's limits are different and unique to them, of course). Perhaps a good chat about things with mum one night might be in order, just to make sure she knows how hard you're trying, but also that you are maybe struggling a bit with it all? 💙💛💙😘

@musicalmissy Just make sure you let her know that you are trying your best and that you understand why she feels that you need to do all this - it often helps if you can open up and not get too defensive. Hopefully there might be a little compromise in there to find somewhere...? 💙💜💙 Good luck! 😉😘
