With hearts eager, in the golden haze, Heated passion, and endless days

We find eachother, amongst the collage, our lives similarly, like a colourful montage

Midas light, shining on us, soulmates, Like feathers on love's wind we float, and charge against the night, heart in throat.

The flowers, now bloomed, do darken and age, Bringing forth new life, ready to set their stage

Falling still, a shadow remains, a love everlasting, That always prevails.

When the gold lights go grey, and the blooms don't stay, we join the fray.

The cold begins win, and the solstice closes in, Blanketing the world in white.

Past our time, ourselves only remain, watching and waiting, as the world never stays the same.

Hearts frozen up, love beats it's last, We think of a happy past, The end of the winter gale, And how we wish we weren't so frail.

Then the thaw comes still, Bringing the seed of spring A flower's final will, That children it will bring

The skies again clear, the days again long, Our time is done, For spring's new youth have come.

And the cycle repeats again, Of love, sadness, happiness and pain.

And the cycle repeats again.
