-Scene three; Cat and Harry are on stage. There is many people around them. They are opposite sides of the stage. Cat is talking to her friend, leah.
Leah: so, is Alex going to turn up?
Cat: I don't think so... He hasn't arrived yet.
-Cat scans the room. And gasps.
Leah: what is it? Is he here?
-Scene freezes. Harry now begins. He is talking to many guys.
Harry: so what you all up to this weekend?
Guy 1: er, I'm going to be with my girlfriend.
-All the all the guys mutter in agreement.
Guy 2: listen, Harry, you need to get out more and get a girlfriend.
- Harry sighs. He looks about and locks eye contact with cat. They meet each other in the middle.
- cat: wh-what are you doing here? God I've not seen you in ages, years in fact!
Harry: yeah since the end of high school.
- they both walk off stage. Lights dim.
