I see you in the corner of my eye, always there but never the focus. Watching, guarding over me. Not even a thank you do you receive. Only a meaningful smile to decode. Silent glances to and fro, only make us long for it more. Waiting, hoping for the glorious day when we finally give in, the day we no longer admire from a far but fall in love up close.
