Authors note: This is to my best mate and for every single thing she's done for me, you know who you are!!
What I like to see the most, Is so mystical and mild, To see these epic beasts, Roaming in the wild.
With their light orange coats, And their luxurious mane, They really isn't any reason, to complain.
Prowling on the savanna, Under the intense african sun, The lionesses hunting, The young cubs having fun.
How you love those lions, And their fearless ways, How you want to take one home, and keep it there for days.
I promised that I would do, Everything I can, To get you a lion, So here's my master plan.
One day in the summer, We going to the zoo, So you can see the lions, And I can see them too!!
We'll spend the day together, Doing as we please, Always looking at the lions, and never the monkeys.
So what do you think? Doesn't it sound fine? Basking in the sunlight, Till its time to dine.
