Sinking, Deep into the murky water At first I tried to save myself But it was impossible The rope around my wrist began to burn The anchor which is attached, pulling me down It is true what they say 'It is easier to breath water then air, in the end'
At first I resisted the water, but when I gave up my burning lungs for an empty coolness I forgot why I ever wanted to leave the darkening liquid which now feels like a warm embrace I am starting to imagine and hallucinate I think I can hear a muffled noise almost like shouting from far, far above me It is to late now, my thoughts are becoming muffled My consciousness is leaving me I'm blacking out into oblivion As I say goodbye just once more to the starry night sky so far above me now Goodbye……
With thanks to blood child
